Through the glass

This project explores solitude, absence of contact, anguish — feelings that I very often experience. I am constantly trying to get closer to those feelings, from which I seek liberation: going inside to get right through.

I am trying to imagine, how my fears would look like, if they existed as physical objects: thick blurred glass, cold water, scabrous surfaces, blinding light. I watch people, who are nearby, but something insurmountable separates me from them.

In order to overcome these obstacles, it is crucial to understand, what they are made of. Fear tells me that I will always feel lonely, but I know that I will be that way only until my fear exists. I examine my loneliness closely, and, under my gaze, it gradually disappears.
